At closing ceremonies, the top 6 teams in each category are announced, with the top 3 coming to the stage to receive medals and trophies. Iowa had 4 teams in the top 6. Two of them in the top 3. In addition, Iowa had two teams earn special awards!

The Harlan Secondary DestiNations in Time team received a DaVinci award and the Maharishi Secondary GuessDImate earned a Renaissance! Each appraising team is limited to giving only one of each of these awards so this is truly a great honor!
