About Us

Students for a Creative Iowa is a completely volunteer organization that is made up of Board members, Challenge Masters, and ex-officio members, as well as dozens of other volunteers who work to promote creativity, teamwork, problem-solving, and STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) abilities in Iowa students. Students for a Creative Iowa is the 501(c)(3) non-profit Affiliate organization that runs the Destination Imagination® program in Iowa.

Our Mission: Students for a Creative Iowa strives to provide a safe and culturally rich environment that promotes creative problem-solving and team-building skills by encouraging students to build on their natural strengths and discover skills they may not realize they possess.
